Test Font License Agreement

I - GENERAL

¶ 1. This Test Font License Agreement (“Agreement”, or “Test License”) is a legal contract between Slant Type (Slant) and you, or the company that you represent (You). By downloading, installing, or using the fonts provided by Slant, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

¶ 2. Upon downloading the fonts from slant-type.co, you are granted a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the fonts. All rights not granted to you by this Agreement are expressly reserved by Slant.

¶ 3. Jessica Granell (Slant), is the owner of the fonts delivered with this license. You have the permission to use the fonts in specific ways not to own them. Copyright remains with Slant.

II - USE

¶ 1. The Test License allows for the installation and use of the fonts across as many devices as required, within your organisation only. You may not distribute the fonts to any third party external to your organisation.

¶ 2. The fonts in this license are test fonts: a limited character set for the basic alphabet, plus numbers and punctuation.

¶ 3. You may only use the fonts for testing of design works, including design proposals you submit to a client for its consideration.

¶ 4. You may use the fonts for as long as required to make a decision on whether you will purchase the Basic License or not.

¶ 5. You may not use the fonts to produce live work either personal or commercial.

¶ 6. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, alter nor reuse the font files, or portions of the font files in commercial or open-source projects.

¶ 7. No further use, beyond those mentioned are permitted under the Test License.

¶ 8. Slant may terminate this Agreement for any breach of the license terms. Upon termination, you agree to delete all copies of the fonts and certify that no copy remains in your possession.

¶ 9. Slant’s fonts are offered on an as-is basis. The license owner assumes the entire risk of the quality and performance of the fonts, and waives both the implied warranty of fitness and the implied warranty against infringement of third-party rights.
